To make conditional sentences, you use the particles jei/jeigu (if) and tai (so, then):

Jei aš duodu pieštuką, tai tu duodi knygą.
If I give a pencil, then you give a book.
Jeigu jis ima stalą, tai ji gauna kėdę. If he takes a table, then she gets a chair.
