There is a big difference between Japanese sentence structure and English. In English the verb comes first and then the object in the bottom. So how to make a sentence in Japanese? See the difference in the examples below.
JPN: 私(Subject) は ケーキ(Object) を 食べます(Verb) 。/ ENG: I (Subject) eat (Verb) a cake (Object).
JPN: 彼(Subject) は ビール(Object) を 飲みます(Verb) 。/ ENG: He (Subject) drinks (Verb) beer (Object).
・彼女(Subject) は 学校(Object) へ 行きます(Verb)。/ She goes to the school.
