Lithuanians do not always accentuate a word by the second stressing paradigm. Often they do not bother to move the stress to the ending as required by the second stressing paradigm. The result of that is words being accentuated by the first stressing paradigm (where every case is stressed in the stem).

For example, this is how the same word ought to be stressed in standard Lithuanian (left column) and sometimes in colloqial speech (right column):

Kanada
Kanados
Kanadai
Kana
Kanada
Kanadoje
Kanada!

Kanados
Kana
Kanadoms
Kanadas
Kanadomis
Kanadose
Kanados!

Kanada
Kanados
Kanadai
Kana
Kanada
Kanadoje
Kanada!

Kanados
Kana
Kanadoms
Kanadas
Kanadomis
Kanadose
Kanados!

Especially in formal situations the tendency is to move the stress to the ending when required (Kanada).
