The prefix ap-, when used with movement verbs, means around.

apeiti - to go/walk around smth
apibėgti - to run around smth
apvažiuoti - to go around smth (by a transport)
apskristi - to fly around smth
apjoti - to ride around smth
apiplaukti - to swim around smth

Aš apeinu mokyklą. I walk around the school.
Tu apibėgi universitetą. You run around the university.
Jis apvažiuoja autobusą. He drives around (passes) the bus.
Ji apvažiuoja mašiną autobusu. She drives around (passes) a car by bus.
Mes apskrendame Ameriką. We fly around America.
Jie apjoja Lietuvą. They ride around Lithuania (with a horse).
Jūs apiplaukiate Europą. You swim around Europe.

Note: before consonants "b" and "p" ap becomes api for easier pronunciation, e.g. apibėgti, apiplaukti.
