Adjectives that end in is (male) and ė (female), as you saw in an earlier lesson, are of two types.

One type is very rare and has only a few adjectives.

The other type is very common, but since it is quite different from the other four types, we will not cover it yet.

didelis, didelė - big

Didelis televizorius ir didelė knyga. A big TV-set and a big book.
Amerika yra didelė. America is big.
