Ar? (Used to start a question.)
Kodėl? Why?
Kada? When?
Kur? Where?

Kam? For what?

Kuo? By what?
Kame? In what?
Like kad (that), these question words can be used for joining one statement to another:
Vytautas sako, kaip Laimis rašo knygą. Vytautas is saying how Laimis writes a book.
Tėvas skaito, kaip gyvena jo brolis. Father reads how his brother lives.
Laimis klausia, ar Vytautas yra pamokoje. Laimis is asking whether Vytautas is in the lesson.
Ji klausia, kodėl aš esu pamokoje. She is asking why I am in the lesson.
Jis klausia, kada aš einu į mokyklą. He is asking when I am go to school.
Milda rašo, kas yra Lietuvoje. Milda is writing what is in Lithuania.
Milda rašo, ko reikia Lietuvai. Milda is writing what Lithuania needs.
Mes girdime, kam patinka Italija. We hear who likes Italy.
Jūs perkate, ką perka jie. You are buying what they are buying.
Sakykite, kuo važiuoja Laimis. Tell, what Laimis is driving with.
Sakyk jam, kame yra pieštukas. Tell him where the pencil is.
Milda, sakyk man: ar tu turi tušinuką? Milda, tell me: do you have a pen?
