You have been studying the first and the second type of verbs. First type verbs have the ending a (jis duoda, ima, tampa, etc) and second type verbs have i (jis myli, gali, girdi, etc).

Now let's get to know the third type.

The endings of the third type are:

au
ai
o
ome
ote
o

Do you remember how to say please? Yes, it's prašau or prašom. Both of these words come from the verb prašyti - to ask, to beg, to request:

aš prašau
tu prašai
jis, ji prašo
mes prašome
jūs prašote
jie, jos prašo

So the present tense third person of the third type is o.
