mylėti
As you remember, there are three types of verbs. So far you have been studying the first type. The main property of first type verbs is that its present tense third person (jis, ji, jie, jos) has the ending a (duoda, ima, tampa, etc).
Now let's get to know the second type.
The endings of the second type are:
iu
i
i
ime
ite
i
mylėti - to love:
aš myliu
tu myli
jis, ji myli
mes mylime
jūs mylite
jie, jos myli
So the present tense third person (jis, ji, jie, jos) of the second type is i.
