When making conditional sentences, you use the words jei (if) and tai (so, then):
Jei aš duodu pieštuką, tai tu duodi knygą. If I give a pencil, then you give a book.
Jei jis ima stalą, tai ji gauna kėdę. If he takes a table, then he gets a chair.
